KinSense Academy offers two pathways for practitioner development. Each programme is created for a different stage of the journey.
KinSense Pathways
Choose your Path
Whether you are beginning your professional journey or ready to deepen an existing practice there is a KinSense program created to meet you where you are.
Foundation Pathway
The KinSense Practitioner Diploma
A One-Year Professional Education in Integrated Face and Body Therapy and Practitioner Development
-
The KinSense Foundation Diploma is created for people who feel called to begin a professional journey within holistic practice and want a strong foundation in face and body therapy.
Throughout the year students learn a range of facial and body treatments as well as different forms of massage and therapeutic touch. They will be given the professional understanding needed to work responsibly with the body and to recognise how different people may respond to treatment in different ways.
Practical learning begins early and continues throughout the programme. Students are followed closely in their development and assessed both professionally and practically so their progress can be supported throughout the year.
By the end of the year students will have developed the foundation needed to begin working professionally with integrated face and body treatments. This may lead to work within a clinic, spa or become the beginning of a practice of their own.
The Foundation Diploma also connects students to the wider KinSense community where continued learning and professional development can remain part of their journey after graduation.
-
The KinSense Fundamentals Diploma is built progressively across the year so that theory, practical skill and practitioner development grow together.
Students begin working practically from the start and gradually learn how to understand the skin, face and body, create customised treatments, and develop a more responsive way of working with different people and different needs.
Module 1 — Becoming a Professional Practitioner. Students are introduced to the dynamics of creating a safe, professional environment and the responsibilities that come with working closely with a client. Practical training begins from the first module so students start developing confidence in their hands from the beginning.
Module 2 — Understanding the Skin
Students learn the foundations of skin anatomy and physiology alongside dermatology, microbiology, skin pathology and skin analysis. The aim is to understand what they are seeing in the skin and why different conditions and skin types need different approaches.
Module 3 — The Art of the Customised Facial
Students learn how to create a complete treatment around the individual rather than following one standard facial. They begin working with skin analysis, product selection, treatment planning and the different elements that allow a facial to be adapted to specific skin needs and goals.
Module 4 — KinSense Signature Face Massage
Students are introduced to the KinSense Signature Face Massage techniques which are developed for different needs and individual desired results.
Module 5 — Advanced Customised Facial Therapy
Students begin bringing skin knowledge, products, facial techniques and massage together so they can build more individual treatments. The focus is on learning how to choose and combine what is most relevant for the person in front of them.
Module 6 — Understanding the Body
The focus expands to anatomy, physiology, fascia, circulation, movement, and the body’s response to touch. Students also continue developing their knowledge of ergonomics so they learn how to work safely and sustainably with their own body while treating others.
Module 7 — KinSense Signature Body Massage
Students learn a range of KinSense Signature Body Massage techniques developed for different needs and treatment goals. Rather than learning one fixed massage they begin understanding how pressure, rhythm, touch and technique can be adapted to create very different treatment experiences.
Module 8 — Customised Body and Spa Treatments
Students learn the art of creating customised body treatments and spa body treatments that respond to different needs and desired outcomes. They begin combining bodywork, treatment rituals, products, and practical techniques into a more complete treatment experience.
Module 9 — Complementary Therapies
Students are introduced to aromatherapy and reflexology as additional tools that can complement face and body treatments. The focus is on understanding how these approaches can be used thoughtfully within the wider treatment experience.
Module 10 — Energy and Intuition
Students are introduced to the foundations of energetic awareness and intuition in a grounded and understandable way. They begin learning how to recognise what they sense during treatment while understanding the important distinction between intuitive impressions and what can be known as fact.
Module 11 — Creating the Complete Treatment
Students begin bringing everything together and learning how to create treatments that respond to the individual rather than simply repeating a fixed sequence. Consultation, professional judgement, practical skill and treatment design become part of one complete way of working.
Module 12 — Professional Practice and Readiness
The final module prepares students to step into professional practice with a clearer understanding of ethics ,client relationships, sales, product recommendation, business and professional responsibility.
The year is brought together through practical integration, assessment and preparation for the student’s next step.

Advanced Pathway
The KinSense Mastery Program
Four Months of Advanced Practitioner Development
-
The KinSense Mastery Program is created for experienced therapists and practitioners who already
have a professional foundation and feel ready to expand the way they work.
The programme takes participants deeper into energy work and intuition while also introducing new
techniques and approaches. The purpose is to elevate the way they practise so they can create more
advanced and refined treatments that reflect the level of practitioner they are becoming.
-
The Mastery Program develops progressively across four modules with each stage taking the practitioner further into the KinSense way of working and into a more advanced level of their own practice.
Module 1 — Beyond the Technique
Participants are introduced to the KinSense way of working with energy and begin exploring how their own state and perception influence the treatment. The module opens a deeper understanding of what can happen beyond the visible and physical aspects of therapeutic work.
Module 2 — The Intuitive and Energetic Practitioner
Participants deepen their intuitive and energetic awareness and begin developing a clearer understanding of their own way of sensing. A central part of the module is learning to value intuition while maintaining a clear distinction between what is sensed and what can be known as fact.
Module 3 — Working Beyond the Physical Treatment
Students are introduced to hypnotherapy and to the ways selected principles can be integrated into the treatments they already offer.
They also learn how to create and guide high-level meditations that go beyond simply following a script and are designed to support deeper inner change and a more transformative treatment experience.
Module 4 — The New Paradigm Practitioner
The final module brings the different parts of the programme together and supports participants in integrating them into their own way of working. The focus is on developing a more embodied and authentic practice that reflects who they are becoming as practitioners.
-
The programme begins on 23 October 2026 and runs for four months.
Participants meet in person one weekend each month from Friday to Sunday and online on two Thursdays each month. This creates a rhythm where new learning can be explored in depth and then brought back into the participant’s existing professional work between teaching periods.
